My previous idea of writing a daily blog about television failed as quickly as Viva Laughlin (for those not in the know, it was a musical television show set in the casinos of Laughlin, NV, starring Melanie Griffith and a bunch of unknowns...it was ridiculous and pulled after just 2 episodes). So rather than continuing with the delusion that I will be able to pull off a daily blog in which I review television shows (read: snoozefest), I'm going to be picky and cover whatever comes up in pop culture that I feel like writing about. This includes the full spectrum of pop: music, movies, tv, books, magazines, etc etc etc. Hooray for less limitations! I'm also not going to limit myself to present day. We may kick it old school as I watch DVD box sets (Yay Freaks & Geeks!) or rock it new school as I find the latest interesting website (see www.muxtape.com to make a virtual mixtape for your hopefully-not-virtual sweetheart...or you know, yourself, for you loner types).
So no more empty promises. No more promising greatness and achieving mediocrity. I promise that I'll write something about something. And that's all, folks.
